Rain, rain, go away!

I'm thinking about getting a company mascot. A duck seems appropriate right now. It has been raining non stop for 3 days now. We are supposed to get 2 inches of rain today! It makes it hard to clean roofs when it won't stop raining. Schedule is starting to back up now.

This is a perfect environment for that algae to grow and expand the black streaks on your roof. Chester county Pennsylvania is not known as a rainy area, but it feels like it right now. This extra moisture is a breeding ground for algae. That algae holds this moisture on your shingles much longer than a clean roof does and the result is accelerated granule loss over time. Don't let those black streaks cause premature failure of your shingles. Give us a call. The Roof Cleaners love removing that Algae.

I am getting to know this area extremely well. Cleaning roofs in Pennsylvania, Maryland & Delaware, you get to see parts of these states that you never knew existed. I have given some roof cleaning estimates in places that are only accessible by dirt roads!

Hopefully this weekend is nice. I want to get back to non pressure roof cleaning in Pennsylvania ASAP!
